Permanency for children implementation

These documents contain useful information about implementing the legislative changes.

On 1 March 2016, the Children, Youth and Families (Permanent Care and Other Matters Act) 2014 (Amendment Act) came into effect, changing child protection legislation, policy and practice. Be mindful of the changes and what you need to implement them to ensure the transition to the new arrangements is as smooth as possible for the children, families and carers we work with.

The documents can be found on the Permanency for children implementation page on the DHHS intranet (DHHS staff access only).
