SCAN meetings are multi-disciplinary professionals-only meetings attended by health professionals, child protection practitioners and police to share information, plan investigations and plan the multi-agency response. SCAN meetings are instigated by the Royal Children's Hospital. Minutes of the meeting will be documented by the hospital and provided to attendees within 24 hours.
