The purpose of the My Views resources is to assist child protection practitioners to seek and record the views and wishes of the children and young people they are working with, to assist in informing risk assessment and case planning decisions.
The My Views resources are two booklets that child protection practitioners can use to engage with children and young people. There is a booklet for younger children or children with low literacy skills and a booklet for older children and young people.
The My Views resources provide tools to discover what is important to a child or young person, what they worry about and what the risks are to their safety.
The My Views resources give children and young people a voice in planning and decision-making which affects them.
