Introduction
See procedure Concluding the protection order phase for tasks that must be undertaken.
The protection order phase begins when the Children's Court makes a protection order in respect of a child. The protection order phase ends at the expiry of the order or if the order is revoked at any time during the period of the order and no other order is made, or if a permanent care order or undertaking is made.
For the purposes of shifting a case from protection order phase to closure phase, the outcome recorded on the client information system is:
- move to closure.
This serves to shift the case to closure phase on the client information system.
