Families with multiple and complex needs: Best interests case practice model specialist practice resource (2012)

Families with multiple and complex needs (pdf, 586.88 KB)

This specialist practice resource guide was developed in 2012 to support the Best Interests Case Practice Model (BICPM).

The Best Interests Case Practice Model risk assessment activities were replaced by the SAFER children framework in 2021. However, these resources remain relevant and important for the broader child and family services sector who use the Best Interests Case Practice Model.

Child protection practitioners will continue to find much of the information in this specialist practice resource relevant for practice.
